Powermate Rebrand
I was tasked with the responsibility of overseeing the rebranding efforts for Powermate, a newly acquired entity by Generac. During the process of brand exploration and competitive analysis, it became evident that our objective was to cultivate a welcoming brand identity, characterized by accessibility and devoid of any intimidating attributes. My strategic approach was to evoke a sense of nostalgia and retro charm, catering not only to the burgeoning camping enthusiast demographic but also to the longstanding Powermate customer base.
In the course of my research, I found that Powermate was once a brand the renowned outdoor equipment company, Coleman( think coolers). This discovery significantly influenced my creative direction, impacting not only the choice of color schemes but also inspiring the incorporation of original design elements reminiscent of Powermate's origins. This comprehensive approach to rebranding is elaborated further in the accompanying presentation deck.
